TRAVEL EDIT: New Mexico

Ever inspired by the Southwest, last summer we traveled to New Mexico with our friend and muse Jenny Gordy from Wiksten to shoot jewelry on location. Here are a few of our favorite New Mexico travel tips.

GO: 

Hike through slot canyons at Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument.

Visit Georgia O’Keefe’s dreamy home and studio in Abiquiú where she lived and worked. She often painted the views from. Limited availability, book far ahead!

Just down the road, hike through the white-washed cliffs, spires, and hoodoos of long-time O’Keefe muse Plaza Blanca for an otherworldly hiking experience.

 

STAY:

Los Poblanos, the historic inn and working farm set among fields of lavender in Albuquerque. On your way out, buy some of their beautifully packaged lavender products (all made on-site) from the farm shop.
